Selected for KALEID 2013 curated exhibition of artists’ books from European-based artists by an international jury.

Emergence: to become visible… Inspired by observing star formations and by John Latham’s ‘least event’ structure, the ink drawings in this pair of books express the shortest time in which I can create a mark – the second – the base unit of time. Selecting a random number, 16, and the random process of marking instigated a chance element in a measured and predetermined framework. Produced by Book Works, London.
