Half-life, 2009
wax and nylon thread, 220 x 150 x 50 cm
Crypt Gallery, St Pancras Church, London

This large three-dimensional ‘line drawing’ was suspended in rows from the ceiling of a vault in the church crypt during ‘A place called Limbo’ exhibition. Hanging in limbo, the vertical tangled lines of the white wax threads cast dark shadows on to the back wall of the chamber creating a doubling effect.
