The Separations body of work was inspired by the vast tracts of water that separate me from my native New Zealand and Britain where I now live. Using film, digital camera and mobile phone, the work documents horizon lines between sea and sky in different locations that I have recorded over three decades. They include the Andaman Sea; Atlantic Ocean; Caribbean Sea; Coral Sea; Indian Ocean; Mediterranean Sea; North Sea; Pacific Ocean; and Tasman Sea.
