Dancing with Sirius

Dancing with Sirius: lines of light, 2017
Giclée prints (14 at 24 x 30 cm and 3 at 24 x 60 cm) on Hahnemuhle 308g photo rag
Lumen: School of Light exhibition @ Ugly Duckling, Bermondsey, London

Exploring astronomy and light through invisible lines made visible by photographs of Sirius, the brightest star, taken on the summit of Cerro Tololo in the Chilean Andes during the artist residency. Following Sirius with handheld camera, random choreographic gestures were made, drawing in the air, creating ephemeral ghost-like threads in the night sky.
