Edge
encounters with merging and dissolving margins

Supported by the Arts Council, this project was the result of a collaboration with two other artists using still and moving image to investigate notions of the 'edge'. For twelve months we responded to weekly expeditions exploring the east coast, from Canvey Island to Dunwich. The research led to a body of work that was exhibited in spring 2005 in two different spaces that occupied 'edge' locations and situations - the large contemporary Jerwood Space in London and the intimate Georgian space of North House Gallery in Manningtree.
